In December 2020, ADI joined the UN Global Compact (UNGC).
Launched in 2000, the UNGC is the largest corporate sustainability initiative in the world, centered around universal principles on human rights, labor, the environment, and anti-corruption. At ADI, we have focused on sustainability issues for many years. In joining the UNGC, ADI has formally committed to align its strategies, culture, and operations with the UNGC’s Ten Principles and towards the advancement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs).
We are proud and pleased to join this important initiative which further reinforce our purpose to ‘engineer good’ and to contribute to a more connected, greener, and healthier future for all. ADI will report annually on our progress towards the implementation of the UNGC’s principles as well as the advancement of the UNSDGs.
ADI Supports the Business Ambition for 1.5°C
The Business Ambition for 1.5°C, led by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), in partnership with the United Nations Global Compact and the We Mean Business coalition, represents a global movement of leading companies to align their business with the most ambitious aims of the Paris Agreement.
ADI is passionate about finding technology solutions that can make a meaningful impact on the environment. As a signatory to the Business Ambition for 1.5°C, SBTi has assessed and approved ADI’s science-based emission reductions targets, which are consistent with keeping global warming to 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels. ADI has also committed to a long-term target to reach net-zero emissions by no later than 2050.
