The AD4000/AD4004/AD4008 are high accuracy, high speed, low power, 16-bit, Easy Drive, precision successive approximation register (SAR) analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) that operate from a single power supply, VDD. The reference voltage, V_REF, is applied externally and can be set independent of the supply voltage. The AD4000/AD40004/AD4008 power scales linearly with throughput.

Easy Drive features reduce both signal chain complexity and power consumption while enabling higher channel density. The reduced input current, particularly in high-Z mode, coupled with a long signal acquisition phase, eliminates the need for a dedicated ADC driver. Easy Drive broadens the range of companion circuitry that is capable of driving these ADCs (see Figure 2 in the data sheet).

Input span compression eliminates the need to provide a negative supply to the ADC driver amplifier while preserving access to the full ADC code range. The input overvoltage clamp protects the ADC inputs against overvoltage events, minimizing disturbances on the reference pin and eliminating the need for external protection diodes.

Fast device throughput up to 2 MSPS allows users to accurately capture high frequency signals and to implement oversampling techniques to alleviate the challenges associated with antialias filter designs. Decreased serial peripheral interface (SPI) clock rate requirements reduce digital input and output power consumption, broadens digital host options, and simplifies the task of sending data across digital isolation. The SPI-compatible serial user interface is compatible with 1.8 V, 2.5 V, 3 V, and 5 V logic by using the separate VIO logic supply.

The AD7175-2 is a low noise, fast settling, multiplexed, 2-/4- channel (fully/pseudo differential) Σ-Δ analog-to-digital converter (ADC) for low bandwidth inputs. It has a maximum channel scan rate of 50 kSPS (20 µs) for fully settled data. The output data rates range from 5 SPS to 250 kSPS.

The AD7175-2 integrates key analog and digital signal conditioning blocks to allow users to configure an individual setup for each analog input channel in use. Each feature can be user selected on a per channel basis. Integrated true rail-to-rail buffers on the analog inputs and external reference inputs provide easy to drive high impedance inputs. The precision 2.5 V low drift (2 ppm/°C) band gap internal reference (with output reference buffer) adds embedded functionality to reduce external component count.

The digital filter allows simultaneous 50 Hz/60 Hz rejection at 27.27 SPS output data rate. The user can switch between different filter options according to the demands of each channel in the application. The ADC automatically switches through each selected channel. Further digital processing functions include offset and gain calibration registers, configurable on a per channel basis.

The device operates with a 5 V AVDD1, or ±2.5 V AVDD1/AVSS, and 2 V to 5 V AVDD2 and IOVDD supplies. The specified operating temperature range is −40°C to +105°C. The AD7175-2 is in a 24-lead TSSOP package.

The ADN4691E/ADN4693E/ADN4696E/ADN4697E are multipoint, low voltage differential signaling (M-LVDS) transceivers (driver and receiver pairs) that can operate at up to 200 Mbps (100 MHz). The receivers detect the bus state with a differential input of as little as 50 mV over a common-mode voltage range of −1 V to +3.4 V. ESD protection of up to ±15 kV is implemented on the bus pins. The devices adhere to the TIA/EIA-899 standard for M-LVDS and complement TIA/EIA- 644 LVDS devices with additional multipoint capabilities.

The ADN4691E/ADN4693E are Type 1 receivers with 25 mV of hysteresis so that slow-changing signals or loss of input does not lead to output oscillations. The ADN4696E/ADN4697E are Type 2 receivers exhibiting an offset threshold, guaranteeing the output state when the bus is idle (bus-idle fail-safe) or the inputs are open (open-circuit fail-safe).

The devices are available as half-duplex in an 8-lead SOIC package (the ADN4691E/ADN4696E) or as full-duplex in a 14-lead SOIC package (the ADN4693E/ADN4697E).

The LT1328 is a photodiode receiver that supports IrDA^® data rates up to 4Mbps as well as other modulation methods such as Sharp ASK and TV remote control. The LT1328 MSOP contains all the necessary circuitry to convert current pulses from an external photodiode to a digital TTL output while rejecting unwanted lower frequency interference. The LT1328 plus five external components is all that is required to make an IrDA compatible receiver.

Power requirements for the LT1328 are minimal—a single 5V supply and 2mA of quiescent current. Internal high-pass filtering attenuates interfering signals such as sunlight, incandescent and fluorescent lamps and is selectable at Pin 7 for low or high data rates. The LT1328’s ease of use and flexibility make it an ideal solution for numerous other photodiode receiver applications. The LT1328 is available in the SO-8 as well as the tiny MSOP for size-critical applications.

The LTC1386 is an ultra-low power 2-driver/2-receiver EIA/TIA562 transceiver that operates from single 3.3V supply. The charge pump requires only four space-saving 0.1µF capacitors. The supply current (I_CC) of the transceiver is only 200µA with driver outputs unloaded.

The LTC1386 is fully compliant with all data rate and overvoltage EIA/TIA562 specifications. The transceiver can operate up to 120kbaud with a 1000pF, 3kΩ load. Both driver outputs and receiver inputs can be forced to ±25V without damage and can survive multiple ±10kV ESD strikes.

The LTC4291-1/LTC4292 chipset is a 4-port power sourcing equipment (PSE) controller designed for use in IEEE 802.3bt Type 3 and 4 compliant Power over Ethernet (PoE) systems. The LTC4291-1/LTC4292 is designed to power compliant 802.3af, 802.3at, and 802.3bt PDs. The LTC4291-1/LTC4292 chipset delivers lowest-in-industry heat dissipation by utilizing low R_DS(ON) external MOSFETs and 0.15Ω sense resistance per power channel. A transformer-isolated communication protocol replaces expensive opto-couplers and complex isolated 3.3V supply, resulting in significant BOM cost savings.

Advanced power management features include per-port 14-bit current monitoring, programmable current limit, and versatile fast shutdown of preselected ports. Advanced power management host software is available under a no-cost license. PD detection uses a proprietary multipoint detection mechanism ensuring excellent immunity from false PD identification. Autoclass and 5-event physical classification are supported. The LTC4291-1/LTC4292 includes an I²C serial interface operable up to 1MHz.
