The AD822-EP supports defense and aerospace applications (AQEC standard)

The AD5304/AD5314/AD5324 are quad 8-, 10-, and 12-bit buffered voltage output DACs in 10-lead MSOP and 10-lead LFCSP packages that operate from a single 2.5 V to 5.5 V supply, consuming 500 μA at 3 V. Their on-chip output amplifiers allow rail-to-rail output swing to be achieved with a slew rate of 0.7 V/μs. A 3-wire serial interface is used; it operates at clock rates up to 30 MHz and is compatible with standard SPI, QSPI, MICROWIRE, and DSP interface standards.

The references for the four DACs are derived from one reference pin. The outputs of all DACs can be updated simultaneously using the software LDAC function. The parts incorporate a power-on reset circuit, and ensure that the DAC outputs power up to 0 V and remains there until a valid write takes place to the device. The parts contain a power-down feature that reduces the current consumption of the device to 200 nA @ 5 V (80 nA @ 3 V).

The low power consumption of these parts in normal operation makes them ideally suited to portable battery-operated equipment. The power consumption is 3 mW at 5 V, 1.5 mW at 3 V, reducing to 1 μW in power-down mode.

The AD9650 is a dual, 16-bit, 25 MSPS/65 MSPS/80 MSPS/ 105 MSPS analog-to-digital converter (ADC) designed for digitizing high frequency, wide dynamic range signals with input frequencies of up to 300 MHz.

The dual ADC core features a multistage, differential pipelined architecture with integrated output error correction logic. Each ADC features wide bandwidth, differential sample-and-hold analog input amplifiers, and shared integrated voltage reference, which eases design considerations. A duty cycle stabilizer is provided to compensate for variations in the ADC clock duty cycle, allowing the converters to maintain excellent performance.

The ADC output data can be routed directly to the two external 16-bit output ports or multiplexed on a single 16-bit bus. These outputs can be set to either 1.8 V CMOS or LVDS.

Flexible power-down options allow significant power savings, when desired.

Programming for setup and control is accomplished using a 3-wire SPI-compatible serial interface.

The AD9650 is available in a 64-lead LFCSP and is specified over the industrial temperature range of −40°C to +85°C.

The ADXRS646 is a high performance angular rate sensor (gyroscope) that offers excellent vibration immunity. Bias stability is a widely-recognized figure of merit for high performance gyroscopes, but in real-world applications, vibration sensitivity is often a more significant performance limitation and should be considered in gyroscope selection. The ADXRS646 offers superior vibration immunity and acceleration rejection as well as a low bias drift of 12°/hr (typical), enabling it to offer rate sensing in harsh environments where shock and vibration are present.

The ADXRS646 is manufactured using the Analog Devices, Inc., patented high volume BiMOS surface-micromachining process. An advanced, differential, quad sensor design provides the improved acceleration and vibration rejection. The output signal, RATEOUT, is a voltage proportional to angular rate about the axis normal to the top surface of the package. The measurement range is a minimum of ±250°/sec. The output is ratiometric with respect to a provided reference supply. Other external capacitors are required for operation.

A temperature output is provided for compensation techniques. Two digital self-test inputs electromechanically excite the sensor to test proper operation of both the sensor and the signal conditioning circuits.

The ADXRS646 is available in a 7 mm × 7 mm × 3 mm CBGA chip-scale package.

The ADG719 is a monolithic CMOS SPDT switch. This switch is designed on a submicron process that provides low power dissipation yet gives high switching speed, low on resistance, and low leakage currents.

The ADG719 can operate from a single-supply range of 1.8 V to 5.5 V, making it ideal for use in battery-powered instruments and with the new generation of DACs and ADCs from Analog Devices, Inc.

Each switch of the ADG719 conducts equally well in both directions when on. The ADG719 exhibits break-before-make switching action.

Because of the advanced submicron process, −3 dB bandwidths of greater than 200 MHz can be achieved.

The ADG719 is available in a 6-lead SOT-23 package and an 8-lead MSOP package.

The ADG719-EP supports Military and Aerospace Applications.

The ADuM1200 is a dual-channel, digital isolator with 2/0 directionality based on the Analog Devices, Inc., iCoupler^® technology. Combining high speed CMOS and monolithic transformer technologies, this isolation component provides outstanding performance characteristics superior to alternatives, such as optocouplers.

By avoiding the use of LEDs and photodiodes, iCoupler devices remove the design difficulties commonly associated with optocouplers. The typical optocoupler concerns regarding uncertain current transfer ratios, nonlinear transfer functions, and temperature and lifetime effects are eliminated with the simple iCoupler digital interfaces and stable performance characteristics. The need for external drivers and other discrete components is eliminated with these iCoupler products. Further-more, iCoupler devices consume one-tenth to one-sixth the power of optocouplers at comparable signal data rates.

The ADuM120x family of isolators provides two independent isolation channels in a variety of channel configurations and data rates (see the Ordering Guide). Both parts operate with the supply voltage on either side ranging from 2.7 V to 5.5 V, providing compatibility with lower voltage systems as well as enabling a voltage translation functionality across the isolation barrier. In addition, the ADuM120x provide low pulse width distortion (<3 ns for CR grade) and tight channel-to-channel matching (<3 ns for CR grade). Unlike other optocoupler alternatives, the ADuM120x isolators have a patented refresh feature that ensures dc correctness in the absence of input logic transitions and during power-up/power-down conditions.
