The ADF7030-1 EZ-KIT® is the latest evaluation and development platform from Analog Devices. Using an LCD and joystick controller, out of the box board to board packet testing on battery power is possible. The ADF7xxxEZKit Design Suite GUI allows fast and thorough evaluation of the ADF7030-1 radio and provides a platform for host processor code development using the ADuCM3029 EZ-KIT mother board.
Ultra Low Power Evaluation Kits
EVAL-ADF7023
Two different board layouts are available for the ADF7023. In the first layout there are separate matching circuits for both the single ended PA and for the differential LNA/PA. This layout is used on the EVAL-ADF7023DB1 and EVAL-ADF7023DB3 evaluation boards.
In the second layout there is a single matching network connecting the single ended PA and the differential LNA/PA. This layout is used on the EVAL-ADF7023DB2 and EVAL-ADF7023DB4 evaluation boards.
Both layouts are 4-layer boards and use 0402 passives.

EVAL-ADF7030-1 EZ-KIT
Each ADF7030-1 EZ-KIT allows fast and thorough evaluation of the ADF7030-1 radio and provides a platform for host processor code development using the ADuCM3029 EZ-KIT mother board (ADZS-UCM3029EZLITE).
The ADF7030-1 EZ-KIT consists of the following:
- RF daughter boards.
- Antennae for over the air packet error rate testing.
- ADuCM3029 EZ-KIT mother board and LCD shield for evaluation and development with the ADF7030-1. The ADF7030-1 daughter boards plug into this mother board.
- ADF7030-1 Design Center, a graphical user interface (GUI) for evaluation of the ADF7030-1. The GUI can be used for configuring the ADF7030-1, evaluating transmit and receive operation, and transmitting and receiving packets.
